
Using blush can be trivial sometimes. There are a lot of varieties than can be used for different skin types and occasions. The are 5 major basic kinds:
The first type is powder blush. Powder blush is most common because it is great for all skin types. Especially for those who have oily skin, this dense blush on can last long.
The second, cream blush are best applied with fingers. It’s also dense but compared to the powder blush, it has the ability to let the skin show thru. Best used by people with dry skin, cream based blush are rich with moisturizing agents.
Third type is gel blush. Using this will provide a sheer glow that works best for people with oily to normal skin. Dry skinned people will have a harder time using this because it dries fast.
The fourth, tint blush is similar to the former, but looks streakier when applied after foundation. It dries quickly as well so blend it fast.
The last type is called the shimmer blush. Commonly used for a night out in town, they give a light glittery gleam to the cheekbones. Compared to other blushes, this is also suitable to be dabbed on the forehead, bow of the upper lip and chin to create an illusion of a sun kissed glow.
